As mentioned in our mission statement, we aim to provide students with the proper resources so that they can make informed decisions about their future. We were once in your shoes and can understand the stress and uncertainty that comes with choosing a career in healthcare. We have teamed up to provide you with this website as a means of opening up the door to the many possibilities that lie in front of you. Treat this website as a guide, not an exhaustive encyclopedia, and explore these and other careers to find your true passion.

Fatema Marvi

Fatema is a third year undergraduate at UC Berkeley currently studying Molecular and Cell Biology. She and her committee orchestrated this project with the help of other passionate AMSA members. After taking a gap year, she hopes to go to medical school.

Rejvir Wraich

Rejvir is a first year undergraduate at UC Berkeley currently studying Integrative Biology. After graduating she plans to take a gap year and apply to medical school.

Varya Fayner

Varya is a first year undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying Neurobiology and Psychology. She is thinking about going to medical school to become a psychiatrist.

Palarca-Wong

Maddie is a first year undergraduate at UC Berkeley intending to major in Public Health and Molecular Cell Biology. She plans to go to medical school after graduation.

Shria Narayanan

Shria is a first year undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying Molecular Cell Biology. She wants to start her career in healthcare by going to medical school.

Beth Belfield

Beth is a first year undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying Molecular Cell Biology and Psychology. After graduating she hopes to go to medical school and later go on to do research and clinical work in Neuroscience.

Nicole Ru

Nicole is a first year undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying Psychology. She plans on attending medical school and is interested in psychiatry. However, she may take a gap year to explore different possibilities.

Amrita Sandhu

Amrita is a first year undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying Integrative Biology. After graduating, she hopes to matriculate into medical school.

Somanshu Sharma

Somanshu is a second year undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying Molecular Cell Biology. He plans to go to medical school after graduation.

Avisha Shah

Avisha is a first year undergraduate at UC Berkeley and intends to study Molecular Cell Biology. After graduating she plans to apply to medical school.

Dana Cho

Dana is a second year undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying Cognitive Science. She plans on taking a gap year to volunteer and shadow at local hospitals. After medical school, she wants to do her residency in pediatrics or family medicine.

Westin Prichard

Westin is a second year undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying Molecular Cell Biology. He plans on going to medical school after graduation but is open to doing a year of research first.

Ethan Yan

Ethan is a second year undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying Molecular Cell Biology. He hopes to pursue a career in medicine or the public health field.
